The Caravan

Edinburgh Fringe Festival, The Royal Court and National Tour
The Caravan was a documentary verbatim theatre performance about the UK floods of Summer
2007. Staged outdoors in a small caravan, it was performed to audiences of just 8 at a time, and
drew together months of research and interviews to present some of the real stories of real people
affected by the floods.
A sell-out critical success at the Edinburgh Festival in 2008, the show was subsequently presented at
the Royal Court Theatre in London in February 2009 before going on a National Tour supported by
Arts Council England, Landmark, and The Environment Agency.
